Standard hypnotherapy
sessions
sometimes called 'Suggestion Therapy' involves discussing
the history of the problem; this takes approximately half
an hour. The rest of the session is taken up with a gentle
introduction to the trance state, using guided imagery and
visualisation. Each patient is given a FREE CD of
the hypnosis session and asked to listen to this once or twice
a day until their next session which is usually one week later.
The next session will depend on how things have progressed
during the week. Most clients are surprised at how good they
feel when they return for their second session, mentally
and physically.
Quit smoking sessions
start with history-taking to reinforce the reasons to quit
smoking. The rest of the session uses guided imagery and visualisation
to remove the addiction and cravings. A CD of the hypnotic
session will be supplied for the patient to listen to as often
as they wish – this will strengthen all the positive
reinforcements gained after becoming a new ‘non-smoker’.
Hypno-analysis sessions
sometimes called 'Analytical Therapy' involves discussing
the history of the problem; this takes approximately half
an hour. The rest of the session is taken up with a gentle
introduction to the trance state, using guided imagery and
visualisation. Each patient is given a FREE CD of
the hypnosis session and asked to listen to this once or twice
a day until their next session which is usually one week later.
Hypno-analysis follows the natural doctrine of cause
and effect - every effect (ie the symptom/problem) must
have a cause, the therapy seeks to find and release that cause
and allows the symptoms to then disappear.
Emotional problems respond particularly well to Hypno-analysis.
This is done in a safe secure way under Hypnosis enabling
the client to safely reach the cause in their own time - in
a pure way because there is no intervention from the therapist
- just a natural purging resulting in the client leaving behind
their anxiety leaving them free to unlock their potential.
It's often described as the final piece of the jigsaw.
Psychotherapy sessions
Most people experience anxiety or depression at some stage
of life and need to come to terms with pain or disappointment.
Often this can be resolved by the individual without outside
help. Sometimes, however the difficulties continue causing
unhappiness at home and at work. This may be because current
difficulties are stirring up feelings from the past of which
the person is not consciously aware. Psychotherapy can enable
individuals to understand hidden aspects about themselves.
The Psychotherapy sessions involve discussing the history
of the problem; this takes approximately half an hour. Afterwards
the patient is encouraged to use the time for reflection.
Whatever is foremost on the individual's mind is brought to
the session. This can be feelings, thoughts, memories, dreams.
The therapist listens and tries to help the person make sense
of feelings and behaviour.
As the relationship with the therapist develops the individual
discovers new insights, and more appropriate ways of coping
with problems and feelings can be found. Each patient is given
a FREE RELAXATION CD and asked to listen
to this once or twice a day until their next session which
is usually one week later.
