| Stress
can be defined as the way you feel when you’re under
too much pressure. Pressure can be caused
from work,
your home life or your personal life, and each individual
will cope differently with these levels of Stress.
Problems occur when you perceive yourself
as unable to cope with the level of Stress
you face, and feel you are not capable of combatting your
Stress.
This can lead to bouts of anxiety,
depression
or even panic
attacks.
The aim should never be to eliminate Stress
completely, but to find effective ways of managing it and
using it to your advantage.
Hypnotherapy can be extremely effective for
managing Stress
by altering your reaction to a particular situation, during
hypnosis, to a more positive one. So when you then experience
that situation again in real life, your reaction will often
be much different.
